A Center for Excellence under SCII Hubs, we are are set up to bring together multi-disciplinary and various public, private, and industry stakeholders, resources, expertise, and opportunities together into a single synergistic space.

Purpose

Running these Centers of Excellence with pooled resources, economies of scale, and value-chains, we will be able to create a closed-looped ecosystem - and at the same time find innovative solutions and create opportunities for the local community that otherwise will be difficult to achieve on our own.
We will measure the impact of our activities and programs, and ensure that they are (net) positive, sustainable and scalable.

Nature of the CoE

We envision that the CoE housed in the SCII hub:

Is a dedicated physical space that offers multiple types of learning opportunities, projects, and services.
Is a resource hub accessible to all the students, faculty, and members of the community.
Consists of classrooms and digital learning areas to promote learning
Contains creative spaces that can promote collaboration and problem solving
Digital platform to promote social learning and interaction.
To be sustainably run by volunteers, coops, and collaborative joint-ventures via bootstrapping on social capital and social innovation designs.
Services are available at an affordable cost that helps the students & local community
